Resume after a network drop
Photoshop, Office and Premiere archives are gigabytes. If Wi‑Fi blinks at night, the browser almost always restarts the file. The launcher keeps the bytes it already has.
Why a drop kills the browser download
“Download free” on a card issues a short-lived link tied to the session. A messenger paste, another browser or tomorrow’s tab gets 403. After a drop the browser usually cannot honestly resume that file.
What the launcher does
A launch from the app or “Get via launcher” goes into the program window, not the browser Downloads folder. When the link comes back, press continue in the launcher — it fetches the tail, not the whole archive again.
- Do not delete the partial file from the launcher folder until the job finishes
- VPNs and “accelerators” often cut our domain — turn them off for resume
- If 403 hits immediately, open the card on the site and start again through the launcher
When the launcher cannot help
The direct card link (outside Russia and the CIS) is still short-lived: do not copy it. For large files from the RF, always use the launcher.
An antivirus that deletes the zip mid-download looks like a permanent zero. Exclude the launcher folder and retry.
