Over het programma
Rufus schrijft een ISO naar een USB-stick en zet de juiste UEFI- of Legacy-opstartmodus klaar — de snelste manier om Windows of Linux op een nieuwe pc te zetten. Het programma hoeft niet geïnstalleerd te worden en schrijft niets naar het systeem, alleen naar de stick zelf.
Wil je de inhoud van een ISO vóór het schrijven aanpassen (een bestand weghalen, een driver toevoegen), dan staat UltraISO in de catalogus — Rufus schrijft alleen een kant-en-klaar image en heeft geen editor ingebouwd.

Installeren
- 1Download het pakket met de knop rechts en pak het archief uit.
- 2Start rufus-4.15.exe (x64) — het programma installeert niets.
- 3Kies je USB-stick en het ISO-bestand en klik op 'Start'. Alle gegevens op de stick worden gewist.
