How to read system requirements
The table is not the marketing minimum on a box. “It will open” and “you can work” often differ by one RAM step and the disk type for Adobe and Autodesk.
What to check first
RAM: 16 GB is enough for ordinary photos in Photoshop; large PSDs and print want 32. Premiere and After Effects live on 16 GB, but 4K without proxies will wait on disk.
Space: installer size plus cache. If free space is smaller than the archive on the card, do not install — free the SSD first.
GPU and OS
Premiere, After Effects and AutoCAD want a discrete GPU. Laptop iGPU will open the app and will not save a 4K timeline. Windows is 10/11 x64 only: there are no 32-bit builds in the catalog.
