Quoi installer à côté du portefeuille
People who already have a wallet on the PC often open a chart too. The 2026 mix-up: searches for “tradingview wallet” or pasting a key into a broker terminal. Those are different programs. Below, which shelf matches which job.
TradingView watches, it does not hold

TradingView Desktop is layouts, alerts, Pine. If there is an account, it lives at a broker you attached yourself. Electrum or Sparrow keys are not imported here. The catalog card is a Premium shell, not an exchange.
People grab it when a browser tab is not enough: several windows, hotkeys, a long Windows session.
MT5, cTrader, NinjaTrader — a broker protocol
MetaTrader 5 and 4 trade a kitchen or a real broker account. Without a server login the window is empty. cTrader is another protocol and a book. NinjaTrader and Quantower are a futures DOM, not “another bitcoin wallet”.
thinkorswim is options and stocks. Forex Tester replays history offline. None of them replace Sparrow.
- Need a chart without an account — TradingView
- Need a forex account — MT5 or cTrader, whatever the broker issued
- Need a CME book — NinjaTrader or Quantower
Do not mix it with the wallet
A wallet signs outputs. A terminal sends orders to a broker. Anyone asking for “the wallet seed to connect the chart” is not this catalog. The two shelves on /crypto stay apart on purpose.
If Electrum is already in the tray
A typical desk: wallet minimized, chart open. TradingView is not a replacement for Electrum and not “a crypto wallet with pretty candles”. It is a second monitor. BTC on the chart is a price. BTC in Electrum is your outputs. They do not need one shortcut.
MT5 only makes sense if a broker already issued an account and a server. Otherwise you download an empty window and start hunting a “wallet login” the terminal does not have. cTrader, NinjaTrader, Quantower, thinkorswim, Forex Tester are neighbor cards on the same shelf, not wallet upgrades.
The TradingView card if you want a desktop chart next to a wallet that is already installed. The MT5 card if you have an account. Wallet cards live on the other /crypto shelf, not in this post as “download everything as a pack”.
Searching “tradingview wallet” or “mt5 bitcoin seed” is a dead end: a terminal does not know your descriptors. If the job is a price next to Electrum that is already installed, the TradingView card is enough. If the job is trading an account the broker already opened, use MT5 or cTrader. Leave the wallet alone.
